TNOC

Responding to the philosophy of TNOC, a brand rooted in Hokkaido, the shop and café interiors are composed using plywood made from locally sourced Hokkaido pine. The warmth and softness of the timber stand in deliberate contrast to the metallic exterior of the existing building, introducing a strong sense of place and material warmth. Located on the second floor above the shop, the café was designed as an extension of the retail space below, with a consistent material palette applied throughout the interior and furniture to create a calm and cohesive atmosphere. The movable furniture further supports a flexible use of the space, enabling the café to host not only everyday activity but also exhibitions, events, and other community-based programs.
