YUKIHYO

By raising the floor level to align with the depth of accumulated snow, YUKIHYO creates a unique spatial relationship in which the building becomes unified with the snowy landscape during winter. Existing trees on the site were carefully preserved, and the architecture was arranged around them rather than replacing them. Rather than imposing itself upon nature, the villa seeks a quiet coexistence with the surrounding environment.
