IL Residence

IL Residence is a house and studio designed to respond to the unique sloping site conditions of Yamanote, with spaces carefully arranged along the natural change in elevation. A continuous band-like composition wraps around the building, gently controlling the surrounding environment while drawing the sky and greenery deep into the interior. At the same time, views from neighboring buildings are carefully screened to balance openness and privacy.
