「H Bldg.」は、札幌の街区形成に関わる2つの歴史的な軸線をもとに構成した建築です。ひとつは創成川（旧・大友堀）の流れに由来する軸線、もうひとつは屯田兵による琴似の開拓を通じて生まれた軸線です。この2つの線が交わることで、建築の空間的な骨格を形づくっています。都市の成り立ちと歴史的な構造を尊重し、その文脈に応える「環境建築」を目指しました。 H Bldg. is composed based on two historical axes that shaped the urban blocks of Sapporo. One derives from the flow of the Sosei River (formerly the Otomo Canal), while the other follows the axis established through the development of Kotoni by the tondenhei settlers. The intersection of these two lines forms the spatial framework of the architecture. Respecting the origins and historical structure of the city, the project seeks to create architecture that responds to its urban context.
